Mike Skill
Mike Skill is a Detroit-born guitarist and singer-songwriter best known as a founding member of The Romantics, whose hit "What I Like About You" became a classic of late-70s rock. A self-taught musician who picked up his first guitar at 13, Skill honed his craft playing in garage bands and performing at iconic venues like CBGB before co-creating one of rock’s most enduring anthems. Today he continues to tour with The Romantics alongside original bandmates and also releases his own music—ranging from gritty rockers to soulful melodies—that reflects his five-plus decades of musical passion and creative experimentation.
